Originally recorded with my old band, Garden of Surgery, this song is about being hopelessly in love with a friend that's in a loveless relationship of convenience. You feel like you could give them exactly what they need if they'd only give you a chance, but are constantly held at arm's length. It was written from a sad, desperate, angry place.
